Husker Volleyball Lands Commit
The Nebraska volleyball team is adding a new player for this season with the late commitment of Chicago-area senior Meghan Haggerty. The 6-foot-three middle blocker committed to the Huskers last week, prior to the announcement that freshman setter Lauren Sieckman was transferring to Wayne State. Haggerty originally signed a letter of intent with Wisconsin in November, but began looking for a new program last month. Wisconsin released her from her scholarship, so Haggerty would be eligible to play this season for Nebraska. Meghan’s younger sister Maddie, committed to Nebraska on April 30th and is a top recruit for in the Class of 2014. |
